Amy + Austin are Engaged! | Blue Ridge Georgia | Cooking Engagement Session

Greetings blog fans! We are SO excited to share something a little different today.

Sometimes we have clients who are a little camera shy. We like to take clients personalities and really work them into our sessions. When clients are a little on the “shy side” we try and figure out where they are most comfortable. For this totally smitten couple – in the kitchen with wine, food and music from the 90s was the perfect fit! (I mean who does NOT like food, WINE and music) 🙂 These two love birds were able to snag this INSANE house in Blue Ridge Georgia for their amazing session! Amy and Austin have been together for a really long time (if I’m not mistake almost as long as Bowie and I have been married). We are so thrilled for these two love birds and can not WAIT to be apart of their wedding in the coming months.

We would also like to thank one of the best in the Biz – Beyond the Diamond. We have been working with Miss Senoirae Ventura on a ton of project lately and we can’t wait to work with her on Amy and Austin’s wedding in July! On a very unseasonably warm winter day Bowie and I met Lindsay and Danie at the amazing, golden and beautiful Montaluce Vineyard. Like any perfect day, we all started out the session with a great taste of wine! (I knew that Lindsay and Danie were perfect matches for Bowie and I when on our initial meeting Lindsay’s drink of choice was – you guessed it – WINE!) Once we had some time to relax and chat, we started our love session with two little puppies that are so special to the bride and groom! These adorable dogs could not steal the show from the love the Danie and Lindsay share (but they came pretty close) 😛 We are SO excited for Lindsay and Danie up coming nuptials June of this year at the Carl House. We’ve not shot there yet and can not WAIT to check out this amazing new venue. (new for us) We are so thrilled for Lindsay and Danie and we hope you guys love the photos. Well we sure do and we are very excited to share that Tanja and Bob are expecting a beautiful baby boy in the coming weeks! We are so excited to share in the amazing moments of our clients. Not only are their families growing and changing but it is starting to shape the nature of Alternative Life Photography & Design. When we started our business we had no idea where time would take us. Now with maternity, a birth, family portraits and so many amazing weddings under our lens Bowie and I are just so thrilled to be apart of this world. Capturing moments and memories is one of the most important things I think I do and we really love our jobs! As we reflect on the new year and where our amazing business is headed we think back on Tanja and Robert. It was a pivotal wedding in our career and I have to say it’s thanks to Mrs. Tanja for being the biggest cheerleader in the biz! Amanda + Tyler are Married | Summerour Wedding | Atlanta Georgia

Greetings all! As promised I will be blogging more and more as the days go on and we move into 2013! It is on the list of things I have to improve. Everyones like to images so I need to stand and deliver! 😀 Today on the blog we have the amazing Amanda + Tyler. We just love these guys and are so happy to have be apart of their amazing, SUPER fun, emotional wedding. It was also the first time we got to work with Mrs. Emily from Stella-Harper Events. Emily is the “real deal” guys! If you are looking for a stellar, hard working planner and event designer – look no further than Emily. She stopped at nothing to be sure her clients are happy and enjoying every minute of their special day. Just a dream! We also shot at a new venue – the beautiful Summerour. This beautiful studio is located in Midtown but while you are there you feel like you’re in Tuscany! (Or what I feel like Tuscany will feel like when I finally get to go there in a few years) The staff was great and we very much enjoyed our time at their amazing venue!

We are so happy to share the beautiful images from Amanda and Tyler’s day. We wish the happy couple all the joy in the world and know they have a full life of happiness coming their way. Cheers to everyone who was apart of the wedding and cheers to love!

Mary + Derek are Married | The Fox Theatre | Atlanta Georgia Wedding

Greetings Blog Fans! Well the year is rounding to a close and this is typically when we start to blog all the weddings we have been a little behind on! 🙂 This will be a thing of the past as of next year. I plan on blogging super soon after the wedding and changing a few things around a little bit so all you loving fans can see our work a little more quickly! Anywho – I wanted to go ahead and start this lovely blogging train that will be going on for the next few weeks into the new year!

Meet Mary and Derek! Mary and Derek we married in the summer at the amazing Fox Theater in Atlanta! This venue is by far one of my favorites in the city to work at or many reasons. On reason being that it is unbelievably beautiful and another is because of the amazing staff. If you are a wedding professional and you’ve ever worked at the Fox then you know the amazing Jim! I seriously don’t know what we would do without him on a wedding day. He is so supportive as the day progresses and we are thankful to have him around! Mary and Derek’s day was no different! Bowie and I worked closely with Jim to make this beautiful, movie themed wedding go off with out a hitch! (Or with a hitch if you get me) 😛 Mary and Derek have a truly special relationship. They are perfect for each other we were so so thrilled to be a part of their amazing day! Check out the highlights below! We wish the happy couple all the joy and love this world can bring.
