Ambient Plus Studio Maternity Session | We’ve got something special for you guys today! Remember these guys from our first Agnes Scott Wedding?

Monique + Brian are expecting their first little bundle of joy very soon. These guys are going to be the best parents in the whole world. Their faith and love for each other is so strong that they are just bursting to share it with another little person! Monique and Brian are about to hit their one year wedding anniversary and what a treat it would be to have little baby girl here to celebrate such an amazing occasion! Monique and Brian, Bowie and I are so happy to have you in our lives and thrilled at the joy we see in you. We are so excited to meet little baby girl McNeil soon! For now, everyone please drool over Mrs. Monique and Mr. Brian as they missed their calling in life – to be rockstar models! Seriously guys, they people  rock this maternity session! Cheers to new adventures in life and cheers to a healthy and safe delivery!

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Wedding

 

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Wedding | Today we have another great event from Crowned Affair Wedding and Events and Alternative LIfe Photography & Design! Lauren and Jamii had an amazing, sweet garden wedding at  Callanwolde Fine Arts Center .  Miss Lauren and Mr Jamii both got ready at the venue. As we were snapping away some of the detail images at the start of Lauren’s day, I hear some of the most beautiful singing coming from up the stairs. This is something about Lauren + Jamii’s day that I will never forget. As I walked up the stairs to investigate, I see the beautiful bride – in her corset and slip – singing her heart out. Just thinking about how beautifully Lauren sang:

If he were a car He’d be a long stretch limousine 
With room for all of humanity inside
Cause he is so giving
If he were a building
He’d be a beautiful cathedral
Cause he’s so traditionally spiritual
But if here a song
He’d be a complicated melody
That complicated fellow he I almost can not sing it on key

As she sang this before her wedding – I knew she felt so strongly about the one she was ready to marry. Such a song to compare the man of your dreams too – I get weepy every time I think about it and I can still hear her voice echoing in the art center. It was perfect, fitting and very emotional! That was not all the emotion of the day by any means. Jamii is a doctor in his residence (now) and he just graduated from college the day before the wedding. As all the incredible people in their life toasted to their beautiful future and how proud they all were of both Jamii and Lauren, it all hit Jamii. Graduation, on the way to being a doctor and having a beautiful new wife hit him like a ton of bricks. I never got to see Jamii’s tear but I could hear him as he hugged and held him mother weeping through all the emotion. It was beautiful! We had the best time watching Lauren and Jamii become one and we were treat no less that family! We wish these two the best – Cheers to Jamii, Lauren and their beautiful family and cheers to love!

 

 

Morningside Baptist Church | Le Maison Rouge Paris On Ponce Wedding

Morningside Baptist Church | Le Maison Rouge Paris On Ponce Wedding  – Today we have Mrs. Danielle + Mr. Cary’s lovely wedding at Morningside Baptist Church and Le Maison Rouge at Paris on Ponce!  Bowie and I were so excited to get to work with a brand new and AMAZING vendor Crowned Affair Wedding and Events for Danielle and Cary’s amazing day. They have an incredible team of ladies and gents and ran this event without missing a beat! We started their day out at The Melia Hotel in downtown Atlanta. We relaxed and chatted as Danielle and Cary got ready to say “I Do.”  We headed over to Morningside for their truly beautiful and emotion ceremony. We stayed back and fought off a little rain to shoot a few images out  in the beautiful courtyard. After that, we headed over to one of my favorite venues in the city, Paris on Ponce. It’s such fun place – the whole venue is FULL of props and little areas to shoot.  The surprise to everyone is the event space. Danielle and Cary managed to keep the Paris on Ponce a tight secret. The wow factor was not one to be missed at Paris and as you walk into the space you are thrown into a time of the past.  It’s a time of a bohemian state of mind, cabarets and dancing until the sun comes up – very Moulin Rouge! Well, Danielle and Cary’s reception was pretty much that, dancing until “the sun comes up” – even out the door to leave and go on their honeymoon they were getting down!  Their incredible band, amazing dj and super fun crowd made this a wedding for the books. We wish the best to Danielle + Cary and so happy for you and your families! Cheers to you guys and as always, cheers to love!

 

Joseph Ambler Inn | Talamore Country Club Pennsylvania Wedding

Today we have a beautiful Joseph Ambler Inn | Talamore Country Club | Pennsylvania Wedding! Jesse + Rebecca are great friends of ours. When they were looking for a wedding photographer they had no idea that we would travel anywhere in the world to shoot a wedding! We were so excited to find out that there wedding was in Pennsylvania, so close to New York City, that we jumped at the chance to be there for their special day (and we got to take a few extra days in New York)! WIN WIN, Baby! Rebecca started getting ready at Joseph Ambler Inn, and adorable bed and breakfast in Ambler. If you  happen to be in that area you should totally stop, stay and chat with the amazing staff! We stayed at the Inn for part of our time in Ambler and will totally go back one day to relax in the natural beauty of the area. Rebecca and Jesse’s also did their first look and a lot of their photos at then Inn. After all the photos we headed over to Talamore Country Club for the big event! Rebecca was so nervous as she walked down the isle but all day, as you can clearly see by the photos, she was one of the happiness brides I’ve ever seen. Jesse has one of the biggest hearts  of any man I ever met. He shed so many tears that weekend for his family, friends and of course he beautiful wife. No matter what anyone says – I LOVE him for all the tears and a tearful groom is a photographers dream! (some of the bridesmaids poked a little fun as his expense – but in a light hearted way – everyone loves Jesse) 🙂 I wish Jesse + Rebecca an amazing and happy marriage. We were so incredibly thankful to be there to see  the day they sealed  the deal! Jesse + Rebecca’s family treated us like we were on of the bunch and we are always so happy to be around people full of love and joy for everyone (even if we were basically strangers). After the wedding, Bowie and I headed off for an amazing adventure in New York City (blog post to come) We were on Jimmy Fallon – eeekkkkk – like on the stage, it was SO cool! Cheers to Rebecca, Jesse, their families and cheers to love!

 

 

Greystone at Piedmont Park Wedding | Kinley + Reid are Married

Greetings! Today we have Kinley + Reid’s amazing Greystone at Piedmont Park! We were so excited to be apart of their beautiful day. We started out our day at a hotel in Midtown for getting ready events. They we all headed over to the Greystone! We had the honor of working with a fantastic vendor, Stylish Styems. Stylish Stems created the amazing bouquets and boutonnieres as well as all the amazing center pieces for the beautiful reception. Their work is amazing so be sure you hear over to their site and check them out! Kinley + Reid has a beautiful day of love and laughter – and at the end were showered with dry lavendar. One thing I will never forget about their wedding was the amazing way the park smelled at the end of the night. With how much lavender Kinley + Reid had thrown at them, I am sure they smelled like lavender all the way to Costa Rica – their amazing honeymoon destination! We wish many years of happiness to our lovely bride and handsome groom! Cheers to love and Cheers to Kinley + Reid!
