Leah + Grant | Wedding | Grand Hyatt Hotel Buckhead
Greetings fans! We are excited to share such a lovely wedding and couple with you guys today. Leah and Grant were married at the lovely, and recently renovated, Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead! This was the first time Bowie and I had the pleasure of woking at this lovely hotel. If there is one thing I can say about this location, other than its beauty, it’s that they staff is fantastic. Anything we needed, any questions we had, all situations were handled with care and excitement. From the top executive right down to the hotel staff, everyone greeted us with smiles and consideration.
We were also very excited to work with a few new vendors this wedding. Terry from Special-T-Events was the head of the show and Flowers by Yona created all the beautiful flowers and reception design. It was a great team and a beautiful day! Take some time and check out Leah and Grant’s amazing wedding.
To the bride and groom: Bowie and I were so, so happy to be a part of your amazing day of joy and love. Your family treated us as we were one of their own and we were so happy to be there for everyone. Here’s to an amazing marriage full of adventure, love, excitement and great surprises!

Ashley + Jordan | Piedmont Park Engagement Session
Meet Ashley + Jordan! This adorable couple (and their adorable dog) have the honor of being our first wedding of the 2015 season. YAY! We shot their engagement session in the beginning of the fall at the lovely Piedmont Park. We met this adorable couple because of the ever amazing Stella-Harper Events. We are so excited to be working with Ashley, Jordan, Stella-Harper as well as 3Ring. We are so excited for their beautiful March wedding. Here is a little about this amazing couple right from the bride. We look forward to hearing the full details of this couples amazing story once 3Ring puts it’s magic together.
Engagement Story from the Bride:
Jordan and I met through friends in Athens, GA at the beginning of our last year at UGA. It was love at first sight and we have been together since – it will be 7 years this September. The night that we met, we did not leave each other’s side and ended up at a concert at the Georgia Theatre where we also shared our first kiss. Jordan surprised me at that very spot almost 7 years later where we shared our first kiss by setting up our engagement at the Georgia Theatre after work one day. Needless to say, I was completely surprised because my birthday had just passed and we had a vacation planned shortly after so I was sure that he would have done it during our trip if it wasn’t done over my birthday weekend. Now we can reminisce on the night we met and the night that we got engaged in the very same spot at the Georgia Theatre 🙂
Angie + Gerald | Piedmont Park Engagement Session
Angie + Gerald | Piedmont Park Engagement Session | Meet Angie and Gerald! We had such a great little session at Piedmont Park this past fall. Here’s some sweet words about the couple right from the bride:
What’s your story and how were you engaged? I am a physical therapist and Gerald is a paralegal. We like outdoor activities or DIY projects. We met here in Atlanta out and about on the town one night. We have been together a little over two years. Most weekends we are tinkering in the yard or working on a home project, and having cookouts with friends. We recently got a new puppy and he was used in the proposal as a prop. Gerald had a new name tag made with the big question on it and sprung the question on a Thursday. He really wanted to surprise me which is hard to do because usually I can read him like a book, and he is always trying to give gifts early on gift giving occasions.
The sweet pup made a special appearance in the session as well. Check out their adorable session! 🙂
Dannah + Sam | Married | Alpharetta Athletic Club
Dannah + Sam | Married | Alpharetta Athletic Club – Greetings fan! It’s that time of year again. Time for all you wonderful to see how our 2014 season shaped up! We had such a busy year that we want to share all our bride’s and groom’s stories with all of you. First up, we’ve got Dannah and Sam. This adorable couple were married at the Alpharetta Athletic Club this spring. It was a lovely day filled with joy and happiness. Let’s find out a little bit about Dannah and Sam and how they got to this magical day. We we’re so honored to be apart of such a special day. Read below a little more about Dannah and Sam! To the happy couple. Dannah, I’m so thankful for your spicy personality! I know that Sam has choose the perfect girl for his mellow take-it-as-it-come personality. It reminds me very much of Bowie and I. I hope that you guys have so many years of love, happiness and bliss. We are so happy for you both. Cheers!!
The story of Dannah + Sam:
What’s your story? My fiance, Sam, is a golf enthusiast. No, unfortunately, he is not a professional golfer (maybe one day!). He is the Assistant Superintendent at Ansley Golf Course at Settindown Creek and is (not so) humble about the quality of course that he works on. I am the Assistant Brand Manager for CosMedix, a professional skincare line. I am also in school getting my MBA and trying not to go crazy between work, school and wedding planning! We are both huge football fans, which shows the strength of our relationship – we’ve made it through three UGA vs SC games and are still together! 🙂
How did you and your love meet and how were you engaged? I dated a guy named Doug my senior year of high school and we kept in touch throughout the years. I was living in Cumming, GA with my mom when Doug moved to Canton, GA with his buddy Sam. My family has a favorite hole-in-the-wall wings place (seriously – definition of redneck) in downtown Cumming called Roosters. Doug, some friends and I were all going to Roosters one night for dinner and Doug asked if he could bring his roommate along. From then on, it was history! I must look real cute eating chicken wings – ha! That will be three years ago this February. The proposal came at the UGA vs SC football tailgate this year in Athens. We were there with about 40 family and friends and they did a flash mob to Bruno Mars “Marry You”.
